More familiar names for a URL are common language terms such as Internet address or web address.
UTM-Parameter
UTM parameters are tiny snippets of code that are added to the end of an existing URL. It is then possible to determine how often and by whom the specific page was requested.
UTM parameters make it possible to carry out campaign-specific tracking, e.g. in Google Analytics.
