CPM (Cost per Mille)

Cost per Mille refers to how much money must be spent to achieve 1,000 impressions or visual contacts.

These contacts are also referred to as ad impressions.

CTA (Call-To-Action)

CTAs (calls to action) are calls to action that are directed at specific target groups. These include sentences such as „Find out more now“ or „Click here“.

CTAs can appear on websites and in advertisements.

CTR (Click-Through-Rate)

The ratio between the number of clicks and the number of impressions achieved by the advertising material is referred to as the click-through rate (CTR).

The CTR is a key performance indicator that measures the effectiveness of advertising campaigns when billing is based on the CPC model.

The click-through rate helps to assess which ads are particularly successful or where there is still room for optimization.

Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH)

Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) is the umbrella term for digital advertising displayed in public spaces. We encounter digital screens in more and more places in our everyday public lives. These screens typically show a program consisting of news, weather, culture, local events, and advertisements.

The moving images and vivid colors attract a lot of attention and, thanks to their smart placement, achieve an exceptionally high reach. That’s one reason why companies of all sizes use DOOH marketing – primarily for awareness campaigns, meaning to generate attention for a service or product.

Display

Display marketing, also known as display advertising, includes all online marketing advertising that is presented graphically on a screen (display), for example a PC screen, tablet touchscreen or smartphone.

Display advertising can consist of various elements, such as images, animations, videos, text links or banners.
